Luxury Bedding and Designer Jacquard Bedspread Sets for Australia

Woven where others print, complete where others stop

One collection, seven coordinated pieces, two sizes. Tell us about your room and we will tell you plainly whether it is the right set for it.

Woven, not printed

The damask pattern is jacquard-woven into the fabric structure. Turn it over and the design is on the back, reversed, because it is part of the cloth.

It cannot fade or peel

A printed pattern sits on the surface and wears off. A woven one is made of the same threads as the fabric, so there is nothing to crack, fade or peel.

Seven coordinated pieces

Quilt cover, two flanged pillowcases, bedskirt, cushion, bolster and neck roll, unified by a gold flanged piping cord on every border piece.

A palette with five centuries behind it

Midnight black and antique gold, the damask combination of aristocratic bedrooms since the Renaissance, grounded by a camel-toned bedskirt.

Two sizes, dimensions published

Queen for a standard 60 by 80 inch mattress, King for 76 by 80. Every piece's measurements in both sizes are on the product page.

Questions

The things people ask before ordering

What makes a bedding set qualify as luxury bedding?

The convergence of three things: premium fibres, expert construction techniques like jacquard weaving, and a cohesive, thoughtfully designed aesthetic. Price alone does not define luxury. It is quality of material, durability of construction and integrity of design working together that elevates bedding into the true luxury category.

Is the pattern printed or woven?

Woven. The Imperial Damask pattern is jacquard-woven directly into the fabric structure, not printed on the surface. Turn the fabric over and the pattern is visible, reversed, on the back, because it is integral to the weave. A printed fabric shows a plain ground on the reverse.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Standard delivery is free on every order, Australia-wide, with tracking emailed from dispatch. Orders placed before 12pm AEST are typically dispatched the same business day.

What sizes are available?

Queen and King. A Queen set fits a standard 60 by 80 inch mattress and a King set fits a 76 by 80 inch mattress. When in doubt, sizing up ensures the generous overhang that defines a luxurious bed presentation.

Can I return the set if it does not suit my room?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused, unwashed and in the original packaging with all seven pieces present. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receipt. The Australian Consumer Law guarantees apply separately.

How do I care for jacquard bedding?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cool water and check the care label first. Avoid high-temperature washing and high-heat drying, which stress woven fibres. Air-drying flat or tumble-drying on the lowest setting is the safest approach.

Buying guide

Woven or printed, and how to tell what you are buying

This is the short version of what we have learned selling woven bedding: what jacquard actually is, how to pick the size, and how to look after the set so it is still worth having in a few years. The full guide lives on the product page.

Woven patterns and printed ones

This is the single most useful thing to know in this category, and a lot of shops are comfortable leaving it unsaid. A printed pattern sits on top of the fabric and fades, cracks or peels as the surface wears. A jacquard-woven pattern is created on the loom, in the structure of the cloth itself, so there is nothing to wear off. The test takes two seconds: turn the fabric over. A woven pattern shows on the back, reversed. A printed one leaves a plain ground.

What jacquard means

Jacquard is the weaving technique, named for Joseph Marie Jacquard, whose 1804 loom made complex pattern weaving commercially viable by controlling individual warp threads. It is what gives the Imperial Damask its three-dimensional surface: raised motifs catch light differently from the recessed ground, so the same fabric reads warm gold in daylight and deeper by lamplight. That changing character is the fabric working, not a fault.

Picking the size

Match the set to the mattress. Queen fits a standard 60 by 80 inch mattress and is the most common choice. King fits 76 by 80 and suits most master bedrooms with two sleepers. When in doubt, size up: the generous overhang is what makes a luxury bed presentation read as luxurious.

What a complete set gives you

A bed dressed only in a quilt cover looks half finished no matter how good the cover is. The seven pieces here layer the way hotel housekeepers dress a bed: cover centred, pillowcases against the headboard, cushion in front, bolster across the arrangement, neck roll last, and the bedskirt closing the gap between mattress and floor so the whole bed reads as one object.

Washing the set

A gentle machine cycle in cool water, checking the care label first. No high-temperature washing, which can cause colour migration between the dark and light areas of the pattern, and no high-heat drying, which stresses woven fibres. Air-dry flat or tumble dry on the lowest setting. For creases, spread the cover on the bed while slightly damp and smooth it by hand, or use a fabric steamer held clear of the surface; a hot iron flattens the dimensional texture.

Storing it between seasons

Breathable cotton or linen bags rather than plastic, folded loosely rather than compressed, in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Cedar blocks or lavender sachets are the traditional moth deterrent, and they work.
